| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi all..sorry I haven't been on lately, trying to give mom and dad a break at the hospital,so they can leave shower, sleep and also take care of their other two children. Summer is getting stronger every day. I showed her all the posts that you all sent..she smiled. She thinks it's cool to have a website for Yorkies. She has a poodle/maltese puppy. She loves all animals. They took her off the vent Saturday and she is alot less puffy. She relly misses her puppy Crystal. I swear the minute she gets out of ICU I'm gonna sneak her 2lb pup in..LOL I'll be the "bad guy" I know how much she loves and misses her..she got her on the Saturday before she had all the trouble. Keep all of them in your prayer, and Thanks for all you support. We're having a fund raiser for her and her family October 11th. If anyone has any ideas how to raise money for these things pm me..I have no idea ,but we're looking for things to raffle and we've gotten food and beverages donated and dj's and bands. Help me come up with things...someone ever hear of silent auctions...I don't know I just know they have not been to work since July and they are way to proud to ask for help,so we're trying to do this small thing. Thanks again...Melissa

| Keeping your niece in my prayers! As for fund raising ideas.... I would do a dinner, like a ziti dinner or something along those lines. Get the food donated and then charge people a fee, they will be happy to help. then have other items donated. Call any and all local businesses. Most people are happy to help in some small way especially when it's such a heartbreaking story of a sick child. Have them donate anything you can think of and then do a silent aucion. This is were they go around and sign up on a sheet and then someone else can come along and outbid them. Or you could also raffle things off as well. Also, during the entire evening, do a 50/50 raffle. You could also add things like face painting for kids or other forms of entertainment that you could charge a small fee for. Hope that gives you some ideas! |

| Thank's be to God! I am so happy to hear that she is doing well. Being exabated from vent means she is doing well. I don't know anything about raising money, but it sounds like you have alot of things covered already. Looks like you are on the right road.
