Sorry Paula little Bella still is not getting relief. I hope something can
be done soon for her.
I had a terrier mix who had severe skin allergies, it started at 7 yrs.
It broke my heart when he had an outbreak. He got addicted to the
meds and I could not get him off of them. I remember it was called
Azium (s). Even went to a holistic doc and still no relief.
I am sure Bella's condition is different and I hope it's just seasonal.
Try keeping her in the ac and off the grass outdoors and see if that
helps. I pray something positive happens for her. I know how stressed
you can get when you see your baby so unconfortable. It drove me
up the wall to watch him scratch.
I have talked to and read that a raw diet does wonder's for things like
this. My neighbor had (she moved) a Norwich Terrier full of allergies
and she went to only raw. Pup was better in a week and the allergies
went completely away.

ya knowthe poor girl had never been in the vets office unless it was for vacs and checkups. Now it seems its always something. So sad.

Poor baby. Hoping she gets relief soon. Cali has terrible undetermined allergies so I know how miserable they are.

yes after this passes I am definately gonna study diet and get to a nutritionist. There has to be something i can do to avoid all this!!! Im willing to do ANYTHING

All three of you (You, Bella, and little Diggy) are in my thoughts :hug: and prayers :hands: . I am so sorry that your sweet little girl is having these problems. I know that it is very frustrating and exhausting for you, both mentally and physically.

Paula, I'm so sorry that Bella has been having the itchies. Sunnie had them this spring and lost a big patch of hair on her side. I took her to the vet, he thought it was allergies. It's cleared up now.

Thanks everyone! So far the prayers seem to be working. We are on day 4 of no itching but she still has pink skin and its warm :( Im weening her off of prednisone to try and get her own immune systen to start fighting this. Im not a big fan of meds AT ALL but I know in cases they are a must. Thanks again for your thoughts. :)

Awe, I'm so sorry your lil one is going through this, hopefully the cause will be found soon and she will be able to relax and not itch like this. Prayers going up for Bella.

Oh Paula you know I am thinking of her every minute of every day. THe poor sweet girl. I feel just awful for her. Praying for a quick recovery!

I didn't read all of the other thread but it might help to put a cotton shirt on her to keep her from scatching herself bloody. Also, the flees are very very bad this year and she might have a flee despite frontline or similar. We had the same problem with Maggie and I blamed everything from food to floor cleaner but then I detected a single flee on her. I gave her a bath and put fresh frontline on her and now she is fine. If you use frontline only use soap free shampoos otherwise you are washing the protection out of the hair follicles...

Thoughts & Prayers for sweet Bella! It is just awful......my Bella is getting worse with itching lately too. If we only knew the Cure for it never to rear it's ugly head again on our sweet babies!!

I just read throught the entire other thread about Bella, whew! I sure hope she is doing better and it will last. Poor baby. :( We will definately be thinking of Bella and Mom.
