| Dena thank you so much for stepping out there and starting this thread. It's so easy to keep our fears, hurts and sorrows in secret, but that's not what God wants from us. He puts us together for a reason...to support and pray for one another and to pray for eachother! Bless you! I'd like to ask for prayer also for my 21 year old son who (thankfully) is coming home this week from basic training and AIT for the army. I'm pretty sure he will be deployed at some point in the near future and I'm terrified. Pray for me to not less this fear cloud our visit over the next month, as I haven't been able to even think about Nick without weeping. I'm so excited for his homecoming, but fearing that I may not see him again after this visit if he gets deployed. Thanks so much and God bless you all... I will be adding my prayers for all of you for all your needs too. God is awesome and wonderful, isn't he? deb |

| Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Deb, Tammy, a2luckygirl - You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. A woman in my church...sweetest woman in the world. Has been suffering from lung cancer for a few years. She found out very, very recently that the cancer has spread to her brain and she has only a few months left. She is the kindest woman. Always reaching out to comfort others, never asking for help for herself. She is completley at peace with it, though everyone else is so upset. If you could keep her in your prayers, it would be so appreciated.

| Lord I pray for this Megan's church friend. I pray that you will continue to give her the peace that she has about her future. But mostly I pray for all those around her. We know she's going to be fine...even if her days here on earth are numbered, she gets to go live with you forever...but it will be so hard for those left behind. Please give her family and friends a peace beyond understanding...one that will envelope and hold them through this very hard time. Thank you Lord, that you are faithful! In Jesus' Name... |

That is such a beautiful prayer. As I reread it I too prayed those words to Him for this gracious lady and those who love her. I always find it amazing how those who are walking with Him do not fear leaving this earthly realm, for they know they are going to be with the Father. God Bless this woman as she has begun her journey of going Home to His welcoming embrace. I just began my walk with the Lord and I pray that someday, when my time here is over, that I accept it with the peace and grace that this woman is exuding, and that I too will one day see His face. Megan, if you don't mind, what is her name? I would like to pray for her by name, although He already knows her name. I continue to pray for all on this thread. We are all His children and are sisters and brothers in His name. Praise the Lord!
