| I am gonna need a yorkiesitter! Just thought I'd feel out the Austin, Hill Country area in TX. I am originally from KS, and will be travelling for about 4 days after Christmas this year. At my parents's house, dogs have to stay outside. Two yorkies, outside, in December, in KS, for 4 days... yeah right. So we need to leave them here. But my dogs HATE to be boarded, because they don't like to be around big dogs. Well, it isn't all big dogs, but a whole group of them really upsets my pups. I know that many kennels keep them separate, but our dogs act like they have been abandoned when they come home from the kennel. I'd much rather they stay in someone's home. But, I don't know anyone in the area, literally, I know my brother, that's about it (and of course he will be going to KS then as well). I did find a middle school aged girl in a town nearby that will watch dogs in her own home, so that is my option right now, but I just thought I'd see if any YT members were interested in watching Tina and Tbone instead. I would totally love to watch other people's yorkies ANY TIME, so that's why I thought I'd ask. Tbone is potty pad trained, and is very good about it. Tina will go outside, but I keep her in diapers when on the carpet just in case. So anyway, just putting the offer out there. Anyone want some extra holiday guests, starting Christmas Eve or Christmas day? We aren't leaving for KS until Christmas day, and will most likely be back on the 28th or 29th. No pressure, I've got somewhere to take them if no one else can, just testing the waters! Thanks all!

| I totally understand! Tbone and Tina are GREAT with other dogs, they are SO playful! But not all dogs mix, just like people!

| I kept ZsaZsa's sister for several days last week, she belongs to a friend of mine. It was fun watching four yorkies run around playing. Hope you can find someone in your area to watch your little ones. I've seen ads for people that come to your home and watch your dogs while you are out of town. I'm pretty sure they are licensed and bonded so it might be ok, I'd ask for references though. Good thing is your pups are home where they are comfortable, bad is you have strangers in your home.

| Yeah, I'm not too interested in having people come to my home. We live in a pretty tight knit apartment complex with gate codes and all the bells and whistles. And if we did that, people would only come over for about a half hour at a time, maybe twice a day. That's not enough interaction for my dogs, just enough to get them barking.

| Bump, sigh... It is getting closer and closer to the date, and I still don't know what I'll do with my dogs! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

| If not and you want to consider daycare, I have an awesome one here in my town. They do keep the dogs separate (or I wouldnt leave Sam) and my oldest two (Chi/Pom and Poodle) dont want to come home when they are at daycare! They look at me like Im crazy when I come to pick them up!
