| Yes, there is a gated area, and no they do not have to be on leashes. They do have to be watched, because it's not a double gate like at the park, but it is gated.

| Sounds like fun, the only weekend I might be able to make is the 8th.

| We are up for any date except the 22nd. We will be visiting California with the babies. That place in Dallas sounds fabulous. It did say that they could be off leash as long as the pooches were well behaved. We all know that all of our babies are little angels See you there ladies! |

| No Longer a Member | Hey! I'm in So. California, but I'll be at the show 14, 15, 16th. I'd love to meet as many YT'ers as possible while I'm there! So I hope you do your meetup then. (crawling back to the California forum ) |

| Ok it sounds like there are 2 different dates that people want it. The 8th or the weekend of the 15th (which is the dog show). We could do it the 8th, then whoever wants to go to the dog show can do that the next weekend or is that too much??? |

| I can't do 2 weekends, but I'm game for either of the two. School will be well under way by then, and I just can't sacrifice that much... sorry.

| Can we take our dogs to the show if we are not showing them. If so, I think that would be really fun. |

| Looks like the 8th is out for me now. I have a conference that day that will likely last most if not all of the day.

I don't know about this one, but the YTCLA specialty, even though they didn't expressly "allow" dogs, many people brought them anyway. I'm thinking you can get away with it. I didn't take Chloe to that specialty, but I did take her to the all breed circuit show two days later. No one said a word to me. Go for it. I sure hope I get to meet you while I'm there! | |

Misty, I'm glad you aren't bringing Chloe to Dallas as I'm really gonna need your hands for holding at ringside. Bluebonnet Yorkshire Terrier Specialty dates is Friday the 14th at the Sterling Hotel and the Dallas - Fort Worth Toy Dog Show are Saturday and Sunday the 15th and 16th.

| Is there a website for the dogshow? I don't think I can make the 15th but might be able to go on the 16th. The 8th is still the best for me for the meet-up.

| Why don't we do the 8th at the park and then if anyone wants to go to the dog show they can do that, too.
