Yorkie Yakker | moving I have an 8 month old male Yorkie. I call him Topaz and I love him to death. I am moving to Pine Bluff, Arkansas the first of August and am wondering if any one can tell me if he will make the change ok. I know it gets colder there than it does here in Houston. Any advice will be welcomed. |

| I just moved my two from Wa State to Texas. They are doing fine. The 4 day drive was interesting to say the least, they both lost weight, but regained it right back. It is normally alot hotter here in Texas that Washington, but this summer so far has been more like Washington weather. We also had to get used to sticker bushes, so we have shorter haircuts too. Did the shorter haircuts for the heat too. They go outside alot more here, and they are really liking that. As far as new surroundings in the house, no problems there. I have really noticed no behavior or personality changes whatsoever in my two. I think these little guys are highly adaptable, as long as their major things stay the same (their people, their food). To me the worst part is finding stores that carry their food and treats they are used to..but I am getting that worked out. Good luck on your upcoming move, I hope it goes well! Moving just isn't a whole lot of fun, is it??
