| Angi - I know I just told you on the phone a bit ago that I'm coming... I don't know if I am or not. Pixie just did something that she's never done before. We're keeping an eye on her, and we know we're right next to a good animal hospital... but she gave hubby and I both a scare. She was laying down sleeping between us and sat up and just started gagging and trying to breathe. We know she's got a collapsing trachea, but this wasn't the coughing and hacking she normally does, this was a "HELP! I CAN'T BREATHE!!" It's like it totally collapsed and she couldn't even cough. A few minutes later, she was fine, and we took our meds and she's back asleep. She also took her steroid tonight though, so she may be fine now that she's got another dose of meds... we're keeping an eye on her.

| She seems to be doing fine so far. I'm being mean and making her follow me around the apartment so I can watch her. She hasn't had any more episodes - even normal ones. I think she might be ok, but I don't know what happened or why she did that. My daughter choked on a chicken bone once - that's what Pixie reminded me of. But she was sleeping, so I know she wasn't choking on something she just ate or anything. I'm still watching her... if she doesn't have any more problems, I'll come on up, but she's coming with me. I'm DEFINITELY not leaving her here alone with just Bogey and Angel. And I really need to make the trip to Wichita Falls if possible.

| Oh, and car rides are like heaven for her. She loves them... I'm not worried about "stressing her out"... and she's very sociable, too... I think she'll be fine with the other dogs & people unless she gets too excited and has an attack.
