I don't know if I am or not. Pixie just did something that she's never done before. We're keeping an eye on her, and we know we're right next to a good animal hospital... but she gave hubby and I both a scare.
She was laying down sleeping between us and sat up and just started gagging and trying to breathe. We know she's got a collapsing trachea, but this wasn't the coughing and hacking she normally does, this was a "HELP! I CAN'T BREATHE!!" It's like it totally collapsed and she couldn't even cough. A few minutes later, she was fine, and we took our meds and she's back asleep. She also took her steroid tonight though, so she may be fine now that she's got another dose of meds... we're keeping an eye on her. |
Yuuukkkk... keep an eye on that baby and don't stress her out with a 5 hr car ride if she isnt any better. SCARYYYYYY, of course... keep us updated
