DFW Meeting I am in DFW too...... DFW has my vote |
Do you think we should post a thread for a North East Texas play day to gather more attention??? I would come to the DFW play day...I know there are more folks in the area than this..I don't think many scroll down this far for these threads lol... |
Im in North Texas... close to DFW... Van Alstyne to be exact.... Would love to take Sam to meet some more Yorkie friends! Any dog parks in DFW? |

I'm all for a DFW play date, but unfortunately I'm married to a pastor's doggie so Sunday's are bad for us. :( |
Actually, if we do it this weekend, Pixie may not be able to go. We'll see. - they're trying to get her in for her knee surgery on Wednesday. If that's the case, she probably doesn't need to be exposed to everything with an open wound and also may not be able to run and play like she wants to. However - if ya'll want to do it, go ahead. If I can come I will - if I can bring Pixie, I will. :D |
Oh man!!! Rocky would love to come and play, but this Sunday is not good for us. My husband is actually going be home for a change and we have a big easter egg hunt at church. |
We're still unsure about Pixie's surgery - they're bouncing between this Wed and next Mon - I really need to know! It's frustrating because there's things I need to do (like get her groomed first) and I need to know whether to do it now or wait... Anyway, as far as the playdate, it doesn't sound like this Sunday is any good - nor any Sundays from what I gather? What's the first available Saturday for everyone? Again, I've got something from noon to 5 this Saturday, but I may not be able to show anyway - What about everyone else? Is there another day of the week that would be better? Like a Friday afternoon or something? I don't see that being as easy for people like Teffie who have to drive though... |
I would love to attend also, but not until after the Easter weekend, I am having family from out of town, this weekend and next:p Maybe if you'll plan it for the weekend after Easter:rolleyes: |

I don't even know what area of DFW is best - where is everyone coming from? I know both TXgurl and Teffie would be coming from the north so somewhere like Denton or north DFW would probably be best for them, but do we have people coming from the south also? |
I don't know where any of these places are in relation to others. Is anyone by Murphy or Plano? |
Ok, I seriously don't know of any dogparks other than Fort Woof. I'm relatively new to this area - and I haven't even taken my dogs to Fort Woof. Where is Southlake? I see the recommendation on the prior page, but I'm not real sure where that is...? |

Southlake sounds like the ideal place. I really like going there because we typically have it to our selves. |
