Ok whose DH was at the gun store today? Mine came home and said a customer came in and they got to talking, customer said they own yorks also and his wife is on the yorkie site all the time like I am. But does the big dork get a name?

Noooooooo. Just that they have two, one is a rescue.

I used to live in LV, I miss it. You had to turn between the Feed store and the Porn store to get to my house...know where that is???

I tried to move away from Vegas in '95, was only gone for 11 months. Couldn't wait to get back ~ there's no place like Vegas.

I believe I do know ~ I live just a little south of Jones Feed on Rancho. Is this the place???

LOL I think the only feed store left and it is just west of the Santa Fe, off Rancho on, if I remember correctly, Lone Mountain? There is the feed Store on one side and the newly remodeled Porn store on the other side... used to be a porn store/auto mechanic but they gave up pretending to fix cars...heh heh

LOL ~ I hear ya about the car repair cover up!! I'm close to the Rancho & Gowan area. We go to the Santa Fe to eat sometimes.

Their little restaurant/coffee shop used to have the best cobb salad, anywhere! You sure bring back some fond memories, I consider LV home, I miss it, used to work for LVMPD. My daughter still lives there and works for NHP. Small world. My DH dies, I'm going back!! I tell him that all the time!

Where are you now? When I left in '95, I went to Columbia SC (my sister lives there) & Jacksonville FL. Humid for sure...

It turned into the Gowan River!

I think in '03 or '04. Luckily we were ok in our neighborhood, we are about 3 streets south of Gowan.

I'm 30miles east of St Louis. 2 seasons, mud and slush. Hate it. I was raised in Los Angeles, but really prefer LV. My DH is from here and was homesick. He tricked me into coming back here by dangling retirement in front of me like a carrot. Got here and then he broke his neck and I had to go back to work. I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose. 'Cuz men are just that sneaky.....LOL

It's humid here, but nuthin' compared to the Carolinas...omg that is the worst!!!

I grew up in small town Il & St Louis MO. I moved from St Louie to Vegas back in 1977. I lived all around St Louis with my family & on my own, from Florissant to South City. Small world I tell ya! lol

Wow ~ your poor hubby. You just never know what's gonna happen...
