| Dogsitter in North Houston? I know I usually don't post here, but I am one who checks this site frequently because there's always new things I learn about yorkies! I just moved to the North Houston area (The Woodlands), and I was wondering if anyone knew of any trustworthy, loving pet sitters in the area. I usually bring my Zoey with me everywhere, but occasionally, I'll get stuck and have to leave her, and I'd much rather leave her somewhere where the person/people will love and spoil her than in a kennel alone! Thanks in advance! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | The Woodlands is a nice Area - have you checked with your vet ? Some vets have daycare or day 'boarding' or may know a sitter...If I knew someone I'd suggest it or if you were closer I'd offer - I would LOVE to be a dog sitter lol !! Also - some Petco's and Petsmarts have bulletin boards where you might find numbers to call ...then check them out in person and see how you like the home. Also - Groomers may know who does dog sitting too |

| The Woodlands area has two(I think) very nice dog parks. Maybe if you take a visit there you could see if there was a message board at the park or ask around. The park is quite busy this summer, I think you would be able to ask around while you were there. I don't know of any dog sitters in that area...I only know about some in the downtown area and such! Good luck! Here is the link: http://www.houstondogpark.org/ Jessica |

| Thanks for the responses...those sound like great places to start looking. I'll definitely try the vets and the petco/petsmarts. The dog parks are a good idea, too! Thanks!! |

| I just saw an advertisment for a doggie day care in the Houston areas, there are three listed and one is in the Woodlands. The ad is on this site on the top of the page. Good luck.
