| Looking for a GREAT vet in the North Ft Worth / Keller Area Can someone please recommend a good vet in the Keller, TX area? I took my dog to Alliance Animal Hospital for boarding over the weekend and they required an exam. So, when I go to pick him up, they have me pay the bill and hand me Tooty (8 yr old male yorkie) with a bag of treats and the paperwork. When I get home, I start looking over the exam results and see that the vet has written in big letters: SEVERE PERIDONTAL DISEASE and then advises a cleaning and antibiotics. I am shocked that the vet did not want toi speak to me while I was there and also that the vet tech didn't even mention it. This makes me feel very UNEASY about using them for this procedure. Can anyone please recommend the best vet for Yorkies and anesthesia? I am just devastated over all this! This is the first time the vet has ever mentioned this and I get to find out by reading the bill! :-( |

| I have a similar need Hi everyone, Im new to YT and I have a new puppy, Chelsea that I need to find a good vet for. We moved here from Las Vegas and we have on ok Vet so far, but I would like to find one that specialized in toy breeds. We need to provide more feedback on our Vet experiences in the area. I live in Arlington but will travel as far as I need to to make sure that both my Yorkies get the care they need, (and "his" dogs too, lol, JK)

| I live close to Crowley, not exactly close to Arlington or Keller. But our vet is Jeff Paetz. He doesnt specialize in toy breeds but is very knowledgable and has a heart of gold. We have had some great conversations about anything that I may of heard about and want more info and I have shared some of the things that I have learned about smaller dogs. If you are interested PM me and I will be happy to give his location and number. Welcome to the both of you!! Maybe you can make it to our next meet up whenever it is scheduled. |

| I use Dr. Daryl Williams at Hurst Animal Clinic in Hurst, TX. He is a wonderful vet, very knowledgeable, and great with my Yorkies! Highly recommend them.
