| Hi! I don't have puppies but i wanted to say welcome to YT! I live in SL too! Most of the yorkies in America dock their tails. What about a Biewer?? They have the long tails! Check out the Yorkie's for sale sections on this forum. We have lots of wonderful breeders here but be sure and check them out or find out if others have bought from them in the past. Do you want male/female and about what size are you looking for?? Do you have small children?? Some will want to know all of this! Good luck and Welcome!! Linda |

| It isn't going to be easy to find one that still has it's tail. Yorkies don't usually go to their forever homes until they are 12 weeks old, so for a Christmas pup would mean that it would have been born around 3 weeks ago. Tails are docked around day 3 or earlier, so any pups born then would have already had their tails docked. If you really want one that still has it's tail, you may have to work with a breeder that is expecting a litter and make arrangements for them to set one aside for you and not dock the tail. But then you wouldn't get it by Christmas.

| Welcome to YT... and as you will soon discover there are lots of breeders. A some are not that knowledgable about the breed. They just have puppies and sell them. Please note most yorkies that are breeder that are (Show ring) exhibitors will dock the tails at birth. Since our pups must have the tails dock for the show ring according to AKC standards. If you really want a pup undock I would suggest you contact a breeder before she her litter is due. If you are interested in join a Yorkie's Kennel club please contact me. And I can supply you with our club breeders. Good luck~ |

PS: If you really want a pup undock tail I would suggest you contact a breeder and request a pup and give a deposit before she her litter is due. Request a pick of the litter and this must be done before the pups are 1to 2 days old. | |
