| My oldest came from Seaside Yorkies. She is a very healthy, active and smart girl. She will be 2 in November. The only thing I can say about them is do not go by their prices. She charges more for smaller pups, but sometimes the small ones grow BIG and the BIG ones stay small!!! We paid $900 for Esme and she is now 10lbs. I am not picky about size, I would have loved her if she stayed tiny, or if she grew to be 20lbs. She was 1.8lbs when we brought her home at 12 weeks. We live in Miami so we picked our pup up. They have LOTS of dogs, some are for breeding, and some for pets. The dogs run their home. Only the puppies are kept in large crates, the rest of their animals RUN FREE. I couldn't describe it, you'd have to see it for yourself. Please let me know if you need anything. There is actually a pic of Esme on their website. It's of her bday party last year. Mari

| WATCH OUT! Bad reputation with dogs they sell!! I bought my first yorkie female from them. Paid $1700 because she was..what they called a "teacup"! RED FLAG! DIDN'T KNOW THEN! She was born with a congenital malformation and had to be put down at only a year and 2 months. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- David Davidow.(owner) asked for her records, they were provided. He stalled and finally said she would be replaced. THEY HAVE NEVER REPLACED OR GIVEN US OUR MONEY BACK. His excuses for not doing so have been: 1..HER VET CAUSED HER PROBLEM 2..CAN'T REPLACE THE PUPPIES ON THE WEBSITE ARE MY DAUGHTER'S (NATALIE'S). 3..I (David Davidow) am not the owner anymore, they are my daughters business. 4...I CALLED THE CELL PHONE LISTED..I AM NOT LIVING IN MIAMI ANYMORE..I AM CAROLINA AND THERE IS NOT AN AIRPORT NEAR ME. (A friend had contacted him that day about buying a yorkie and she was driving to his Miami house...he told her how to get to his Miami home. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I have read other stories from other YT members that have been sold puppies that have had ears cut, sick puppies, and have paid extra for a certain size and have been given another puppy altogether!! NOTICE THEY ONLY LIST A CELL PHONE - NO HOME PHOME IT SEEMS THEY ARE PUPPY BROKERS (probably buy from a puppy mill)..THEY ALWAYS HAVE PUPPIES FOR SALE, I'VE NEVER SEEN PARENTS ON PREMISES OR ON WEBSITE. |

| I can't believe they were closed down!? They scammed me and I reported them to The Squeaky Wheel. I had several people write to me telling me their sad stories. One lady wrote me and told me that before they were called Seaside Yorkies they had another name. She was able to get them to have to change it. Maybe this is what happened now. I doubt these con-artists are not going to continue as yorkie brokers. |

| i live in west palm beach. i got my Puppy from Wellinton pup. she has not had and major problems. no liver , knee etc. they use local breeders only. No Pup mills. I too have heard bad things about seaside. My step son girlfriend got a pup in ft lauderdale and paid alot more for her and she had to have the knee surgery $2000.00 for it. Lucky for izzy they got her and not someone esle. She couldn't wait for wellington pup to get one from my sophies Breeder. i think she told the breeder she got Izzy from. But i'm sure they knew there pups could have the problem as they have been breeding along time. the best thing to do is to go to AKC website and look for a breeder. there are so any breeder who just don't care or know what they are doing. I wish i had know a little more when i got sophie. I got lucky. She is a great dog. Last edited by Fashionlady; 02-27-2009 at 10:43 PM. |

You are so right! I wish I and many others who got sick yorkies at Seaside Yorkies would have known better. I too have bought my other two yorkies from Tsa-La-Gi. They have both been healthy. I just posted on the Squeaky Wheel my problem with Seaside Yorkies and also am having them investigated. (TheSqueakyWheel.com - we get refunds! Post your consumer complaints here.) On the website on look for complaint type Seaside Yorkies! Last edited by Ines3185lyorkie; 02-28-2009 at 11:05 AM. | |
