Where are all those Mississippi yorkies at? Jamie needs friends to play with on the weekends. I've seen you posting so we KNOW you exist! LOL! Maybe we could plan a central Mississippi Meetup so that people from the surrounding states could attend as well?

I'm from South Ms...close to USM. I'd love to meet, but not in the winter...for me it would have to be spring or later. Nice to meet ya! And I been posting quite abit since I joined!!

Wow! You have been posting alot. Spring would be better for me as well. I just wanted to put some feelers out since I had seen several MS members posting.

I know the call was for ms, but i'm not to far away. We live in lower alabama and ralph would love to play too (lol).

Sure I don't see why not!!! What do we do and where do we do it at? Parks? Houses? ummm Restaurants??? lol so we can eat eat eat!!

I am bumping Mississippi Yorkies back to the top since I've seen several new MS members joining in the last few days!

I would LOVE to have a meetup with everyone soon. We can't have those Lousianna YT'ers showing us up with their fancy schmancy crawfish boil

(though I'll probably go to that too!) Let me know who all is interested in a Mississippi meetup!

Count me in! I'm not far from you - over in Vicksburg. Baseball season is in "full swing" but I know I can find a Saturday afternoon to meet up with ya'll. Someone tried to organize one last year (I think) but not sure how it went, if it even came to fruition - I never saw anything else about it.

Do ya'll have any ideas on a pet friendly location? I'm happy to try and organize something for us. Also anytime you see a new person posting from MS, lets shoot them a message or a PM referring them to this thread. I know that I saw a few new MS people in the last couple of weeks. Now I just have to find them.

I wish I did know of a place! Are there any over in the Madison/Ridgeland/Jackson area? There is a park here in Vicksburg, right on the river - Riverfront Park to be exact - but now sure on how pet friendly it is. I will be happy to check into that if any want to have a meet-up here. Maybe then a few of our Louisiana YT's from across the river (and I know we have a few in the Monroe area, but I don't think it's many) could participate if their LA meet-up is too far.

Okay, I am truly from SOUTH MS. Like 15 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico...... What ever happened to the meet up for yorkies that was posted earlier? I don't have my new yorkie yet. (Lost mine to intestinal cancer a year ago April) BUT I have a deposit on a 6 week old and will get her mid June.
Needless to say I am ecstatic. Her name is Paisley Grace and she is from Hartlan Yorkies.

Keep me posted about the yorkie meet if it is still on. Of course, at this point I am not sure if she is old enough for a full out social event.

i am from Morgan City, Louisiana -- which is on the gulf of mexico (basically) but i have a friend of mine who is from mississippi and she has a yorkie. I believe she is from Jackson, however i could be mistaken.
