It would be nice if Esme had some friends her own size to play with!

All the dogs we know are much bigger! Have any of you on this board ever had a yorkie get together?

that does sound nice, I myself have 2 other dogs , but they are way larger (Rottweilers) Nemo really dosen't get to play with anyone his size, a Yorkie get together sounds Nice

...Mojo is probably bigger tho...he is 71/2 lbs of pure muscle...hehehe

But he is a gentle giant...

I am not in Miami but live in Ft. Lauderdale.....I don't really know too much about Miami but we do have something in common.....We are both yorkie Mommies!!!! I love that. We have two little ones.....Huggz and Kizsez and we love them very much. I have never gone to a yorkie get-together but that would be fun. I love going to Petsmart on Sundays b/c I get to meet alot of wonderful yorkie owner who adore their pups as much as we do ours. I hope to one day learn how to post a foto of my littles. Both of our littles send your Esme much huggs and kisses.

Hi there,
I'm also in Ft. Lauderdale and I'm blessed to have other yorkie friends here so that we can get together and have a "yorkie play day" and the moms can enjoy each other's company as well. Perhaps you'll meet other folks on this list from the Miami area - if your dog is a "singleton",meaning that he/she is the only one in the home, it's important to keep them socialized to both other doggies and people outside of your home. That way they won't be afraid when you take them on a trip, etc. Good Luck!

Hello Esme. I am in in the Miami area (West Dade Kendall) and I have a six month old little girl named Genie which weigh approx. 4 Lbs.
A yorkie get together sounds nice.

Matise and I would love to have a play group! How bought a broward/miami-dade play group. I am in miramar(pembroke pines) and would love to get a play group or just a group were we can get together and talk, exchange ideas, and let our babies play together.
We could find a meeting place-dog friendly park or we could switch up meeting places whatever. My little Matise is 3 lbs. and is to small to play with most other dogs so it would be great if we could make a yorkie group up so these guys could get together and play. And we could get together and talk. Maybe we could put it together with like a private e-mailing list so that we could set up dates and times and all that jazz.
I would love for this to happen so give me your feedback and let me know what you guys think!!
