I googled you hotel, since I've never heard of it before. lol. It looks nice and it's right by the Westshore mall and the International Mall. If you love shoipping, you'll love the International Mall! I live in what they call "New Tampa", which is only 20 minutes from you!

Oh, if you have any free time during your stay, you should definately go to Clearwater Beach.. the sand is white and soft.. you'll love it!

Hello, I just joined. I live in Celebration, FL which is right by Disney with my yorkie Reesee. I have had her for a bit over 2 weeks and still learning. Anyone in the area that would like to chat that would be great. And as soon as Reesee's vaccines are done she would love to meet other yorkies.

Reesee says: Mr. Biggs, I will have my mommy drive me to Tampa if you plan a party

Mr. Biggs is a year and 8 months. I go with him to the park every other weekend, but we haven't been to the beach yet. I went without him once to check it out and there were a lot of bigger dogs off leash, so I'll probably have to take him during the week so that there won't be as many dogs... hopefully. lol.

Mr. Biggs is excited to have a new friend!

My mom lives in Coral Springs and I'm going to be visiting her sometime in May (once I graduate) so I'm definately up for a meet-up! I was thinking since there are so many people on here from down south that maybe we can have a yorkie roadtrip meet-up and a couple of us from around the Tampa/Orlando area can drive down and maybe we can make a weekend of it? Just a plan for maybe down the road once we see how all of our meet-up's go. But I'd definately be down for a meet-up! (Especially since there are so many dog stores down there. maybe we can have a shopping meet-up. lol)

Hello Kara and Matise,
I think this is a wonderful idea!! We are located in Miami Lakes, only about 5 minutes from Pembroke Pines, so we are close enough to get toguether somewhere nearby. My girls are 2 and 3.5 pounds so we are also not able to go to the regular off leash dog parks from fear of all bigger dogs... so it would be wonderful to have them socialize with other small yorkies. You can start a thread under this SouthEastern region section for all Dade/Broward yorkie owners and we can chat here all the time!
