| Breeders near Nashville? Hello all! I've been reading through the forums on YT forever, but now that i'm able to get my own little buddy, I thought it was time to join! I've been housesitting for a yorkie for several years now and have absolutely fallen in love with the breed and have been waiting for the perfect time to get one of my own. Anybody have good suggestions of yorkie breeders in the Greater Nashville area? I would even be able to travel 2-3 hours outside of Nashville for the right dog. I would actually prefer a dog that was 6+ months old, so if anyone is looking to rehome a dog in the Nashville area, that would be great as well! I've been searching on petfinder, but I'd really prefer a well-socialized purebred since I'm allergic to most other breeds and it would be my first dog of my own. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give me! |

| You can find well socialized purebreds in shelters and on petfinder. Sometimes the owner dies, goes into a nursing home or can no longer keep their dog for a health reason and they are turned over to a shelter...some are simply lost and the owner is never found and some are turned over by 'breeders' who no longer want them. There are many, many Yorkies in rescue and shelters...please consider one of these first...you'll be glad you did! |
