| Been to a small Yorkie Meet-up? We are having a Florida meetup in June and would love to know what others have like and disliked about the meetup they've been to. About 15 people and their furbabies have so far RSVPed and we would like any suggestions.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Hi! I've been to a few in San Francisco. One thing that disappoints me is that the yorkies don't seem to play together much. The humans socialize, and the dogs kind of do their own thing. It's funny, sometimes another dog will crash the meet, and then suddenly all the yorkies are chasing after and trying to play with the other dog. I do think it's cute seeing all the yorkies dressed up. The meet before Halloween, there was a costume contest.

| At one meet up people brought nice things to donate for a raffle to raise money for a local rescue organization. I liked the idea of us having fun and helping out a rescue.

| We have an amazing group of Idaho YorkieTalkers and get together regularly. Its one of my favorite things to do! We have done a Halloween costume party, Christmas party, Thanksgiving party, Valentine's party and a fun day at the park. We've done gift exchanges where we either do a small gift for everyone or we have also drawn names and gone all out. Our babies all have different personalities and all get along so great. They each seem to have their favorite yorkie friend and we all have our favorite babies. I have met some amazing friends. You guys will have an absolute blast! Can't wait to hear about it!

| I've noticed this too. It's almost like the yorkies are a pack and don't care, towards the end of the meet when there are less yorkies they start playing. I've also noticed that they will play with the humans more than with each other. I wish there was a way to get all the doggies together for a photo op. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | Ha ha, yeah, Thor is like that too. He likes yorkies and daschunds. I think maybe it's was ferraritiffie said, the meets I've been to have had a lot of yorkies in a smaller area.

| Yup! Like when I bring him to the dog park he is glued to the yorkies like in a clump of 4-5 wrestling and rolling around (i've attached a photo for reference), but at the meets with 10+ yorkies, maybe he is so excited he doesn't know what to do with himself, the yorkies just stand there and do nothing hehe. |

Wylie and Marcel do that too, except Marcel's mouth is soooo teensy - it just doesn't look too vicious. There was nothing I can complain about at the 1 meetup I went to. Everyone was so nice! We couldn't stay very long, but it was still fun. My boys would run over to this or that yorkie for a sniff or whatever, then tear back to my lap for kisses and reassurances. Lots of butt sniffing. Marcel did his "hopping" thing at a few other yorkies (where he hops from side to side to try and get a party started). It was fun.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Everyone says lol, but I literally LOL'd at the first picture. Those are all great. Glad you included reference shots.
