OMG!!! I feel so bad for her.
I can't even imagine having to think about giving up my furbaby.
My heart breaks for her.
I am fairly new to this site and for the amount of time I have been here, I have found nothing but very caring and supportive people which I am truly grateful for. I really hope she decides to come back. It would really be a sad thing for someone to come to this site for help and have something like this happen.
Like someone else here said, unless you walk in her shoes, don't judge her!
I will tell her right now, I am so sorry this happened to her here on top of all that she is going through already.

Default I Am So Sorry!

Wow, I really didn't mean for all this to start so maybe I better explain things a little further.
I don't want to give the girls away but I feel like someone else can probably give them a better home. Maybe my mind can be changed.
1. Yes, I have friends and relatives that would probably take them as a favor to me....but none of them are yorkie owners. Which translates that they have no idea what sweet, loving, devoted, smart, funny little characters they are. I don't want them to be somewhere because I was owed a favor. I want them to be somewhere where they will be loved and taken care of. That is why I came to YT.
2. Yes, I can find housing that will accept pets. I am having to take a second job to pay all the expenses that I haven't been paying....rent, utilities, rental insurance etc... With 2 daughters in college I am stretched as far as I can be. So working 10-14 hours a day, when do I have time to devote to my fur babies? They are used to having their own room, and it is theirs to do with as they please. They won't have that in a rental and would have to be kept in a pen all day in case they decide to chew (they do that very rarely now, but you never know). So what kind of live would they have? I live in a small town so puppy care is not available.
3. To the member who insinuated I was trying to recoup the money that I have spent... I don't recall saying anything about money but I am smart enough to know that I could NEVER get back the money I have invested in them nor do I care to. I have to drive 100 miles each way just to purchase the dog food, treats and puppy pads they use. My husband is a race car driver so we traveled in a motor home constantly from March - November. So we purchased everything in duplicate so we didn't have to keep carrying things back and forth. In November, we are gone 3 weeks to Florida, which means 21 outfits for each baby, since we can't do laundry. Sasha, the smallest was bumped by a car one night last November. I rushed her to a emergency hospital for animals in Little Rock where it cost me 1100.00 to have tests run on her. (She is fine now). They go to the groomer monthly at 120.00 a trip. I could go on and on, just trying to get my point across.

Didn't mean to be so long winded, but my feelings were hurt by some of these people. Thanks everyone for your messages & support and please know that I won't just give my girls to anyone that wants them. I realize that I probably won't find anyone that will spoil them like I do ( I know I go overboard sometimes) but I know I can find them a good home somewhere.

So, you really need to knock off the attitude. Here Here! Totally agree and couldnt have said it better!

Yall need to lay off this chick.

NONE OF US are in A STABLE situation!!! And if you think you are hehe... boy have you got some hard days ahead! Yes - YOU.

All of us are a pay check or a loved one away from being homeless.

ALL OF US! My man made just shy of 250 grand last yr but rest assured... Im just as broke as anyone else. ONE pay check away from losing it all! Thats because we all tend to live a bit outside our means but thats another topic. The fact and point is: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS STABILITY and if you think there is... YOU are the most vulnerable and had better awaken. And fast!

Life - in and of itself - IS NOT STABLE! Shame be to those of you giving this lady a hard time.

THIS is why I NEVER speak on this site, until someone is getting kicked to death - then I'll speak up for them. This place is so high school! GROW UP! Many of you are too 'inside this box' to realize how ignorant and arrogent you sound.

Its people like the ones I see here giving this girl a hard time THAT GIVES all of us Yorkie owners a bad name. Stop. We dont all suck!

Get that nose out of the air! Im sick of us cool, down to earth, enlightened people paying for THIS attitude! An attitude in which we DO NOT all share!

God bless you OP and I pray its Gods Will that you get to keep your babies. Dont worry with any of this foulness. Or foul people. Many here are willing to help you and support you in whatever comes into fruition.

Many here also need to take a look at their post history and see how judgemental and rude they are consistantly. Same people usually and they are 'allowed' this activity I am speaking.

The clique thing going on here is so obvious and offensive to those of us that dont live, eat and breath YT.com. I emplore everyone to try to be aware of this because it could safe or end lives. I can EASILY see why most people would fear posting here. We need to work on that and change the environment to one in which people would feel welcome to come to us with any questions.

After all - isnt the purpose of all of this education on the breed? That being said: we MUST facilitate an environment that NEVER MAKES ONE REGRET opening up!!!

Sorry, my babies walked across the keyboard before I was finished with my previous post but at least some of it came through. They somehow have figured out how to step on the exact right keys that make everything go absolutely nuts so I had to start over. It's not their first time and I doubt it will be their last.

Your life has hit a rough patch right now and in the end it might work out better than you think. Give yourself time and let things works themselves out and see what needs to be done. When this situation came up for me I was stressing badly but in the end things worked out better than I could have imagined at the time. I understand you want to do the best thing for your babies if you feel it would be a necessary move. Putting their needs above your own is what a good momma does even when it breaks our hearts. Just give it time and if they have to spend a little less time with mommy for a while but they will understand and will love you the same. Cry when you need to cry, scream when you need to scream, lean on others when you need some support, and remember... this too shall pass.

I'm so sorry you were hurt by some people, but I hope you felt more than anything else the support of so many others.

glad you are back Alleycat, and good luck finding homes for your babies. I have one and if the economy was better I would probably have at least one more. As I have said in previous posts, no matter how bad my day is at work , Marley can get me laughing within minutes of being home. She is quite a stress releiver.

Take care and hang around and let us know the out come. I wish you well.

I am looking to adopt another little yorkie. I probably couldn't take both of them but can help you find a home. I live in fort Lauderdale and have been caring for a special needs yorkie since he is 3 months old. How big are they? I want to find another little one. My little guy is 4lbs. and ideally would like to find that size.

I can give you my information if you are interested, just send me a private message. I know this must be heartbreaking!

I so agree with you. I have only been a member for about one month. In that first month there was a huge debate and the thread is now locked. I am afraid most of the time to post anything for fear of being judged. I have thought many times about cancelling and moving on.

Hang in there Allykatz! I will pray for you that you get to keep your furbabies.
