| Hi there! I'm a Carson-Newman graduate and my yorkie, Sully, was born in Lafollette, TN. If you would like our breeder's number let me know! We live in Johnson City now.

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk! I live right outside of Chattanooga, so not to far from you! We'll help you anyway we can. I just got my little Millie Sage about 1 1/2 months ago. My best advise - read as much as you can and be as prepared as you can be. I highly recommend the "Yorkies for Dummies" book. Lots of info, but very easy reading. Most of the advise in the book is right on! Also, I was very suprised, but I really bought a lot of stuff before I got my yorkie (stuff that was recommended in the book and other websites) and I have used every bit of it! Nothing was a waste of money, so far. |

| Thanks for the warm welcome guys! YT is the most informative and friendly site I have ever been on. I almost bought the dummies book. I may have to go back and get it. Thanks for the offer of the breeder contact too. My mom has a yorkie she may breed when she comes into heat again, but if there aren't puppies I will definitely take you up on that. As for buying stuff....I have wishlists for a ton of things, but no purchases yet. It seems like everything I see there are alot of options for. So far the main decision I have made is harness not leash....I'm still on the fence about the rest as far as products go. Congratulations on the new baby! How have the first three weeks been? I am really nervous about that first adjustment stage. I hope to get my place completely puppyproofed beforehand. Thanks again! Britt |

| Hi! Nice to meet you guys. Lilbumbleybees, I will definitely post lots of pictures. I have only been to Chattanooga once, but it seemed like a neat place. Dianne, thanks for the welcome. I hope you are having a great time with Prudence. Has it been difficult with her being your first yorkie? We had dogs while I was growing up, but I haven't had a puppy since I moved out. |
