YT Addict | Birmingham Dog Parks: George Ward Park. Disc Golf Course/Dog Park. This is a great disc golf course and dogs roam free and happy for acres. There is a creek of sorts on the far end for the dogs to get a drink and take a dip. Location: Green Springs. Directions: Exit 258 Greensprings Ave. off I-65, east, then left on Green Springs Hwy, 0.5 mile, right at 16th Ave. (1st light), then right through the old Apts. up hill past Tennis Center, stay left to back parking lot. Rhodes Park. Large park with plenty of room for dogs to run and play; lots of friendly dogs on evenings and weekends; No fence. Location: Highland Avenue. Directions: HW 31 N to Highland Ave; turn right; continue on Highland until you come to Rhodes Park (2nd of three parks on Highland). |
