Age limit Is there no age limit to this site? Just curious, I know that some "kids" tend to get on here and act crazy. just wondering.... plus...in off topic, sometimes we talk about "grown up stuff" LOL j/k but really, if there is no age limit, why is that?? |

You have to be 13. Or your parents have to give special permission if you are under 13 and be approved by Admin. |

Sadly, the most childish behavior seems to come from grown adults, not the kids. Of course it's easy to lie about your age when you are registering, but IMO, that is when it becomes the parents' responsibility to monitor their children and the sites they are accessing. True, some of the adult conversations here might be a bit much for a child, but it's mild in comparison to the other crap they can easily encounter on the net.:) |

Oh, I'm just teasing! I'm 24, but I'm pretty young for a responsible yorkie owner! I know it is more of a fad for girls my age, but I take being T&T's mommy VERY seriously. |
Oh, and I also have a lot to say about my generation, as far as respect goes. I just got my degree this year, but I put off all my general classes until my last two years of college. I could not believe the disrespect and backtalk those kids were dishing out, arguing about the assignments the teachers gave and the such. Obviously I was blessed with parents that stuck to their guns and didn't budge when I wanted to be a brat. It frightens me to think of the generations to come after us. |
The site may be read by anyone of any age, so a restriction would do nothing except alienate young yorkie owners who need the support of others. I know 13 year olds who are more mature by far than some of the "adults" on this site. If it were my children, I rather they be here than 99% of the other sites on the internet. :thumbup: |
I think this is a good healthy environment compared to some places kids can go, so bring em' on. |

I dont mind the younger members either. There are from time to time members children joining on here and I think thats great. It is better for them to be on here than alot of other sites on the net |
well i am young but im not a child....im 18 years but i don't really even hang out with anyone my age.i've been through A LOT and i've been told i act a lot older than i am. |

I haven't seen any of the threads where the kids are acting crazy (not saying they didn't, just that I haven't seen them). It seems that most of the drama around here is caused by the adults. I will say that we have a lot of young people on here that act very mature, like Megan. For a LONG time I didn't realize how old she really was because she acts so much older! |
