No Longer a Member | Need a Yorkie railroad forum I was just thinking... and I know this has been requested before... Can we have a forum for a yorkie train. Now bear with me as I have a good idea for it... It occurred to me, that in addition to the occasional requests that come up for railroad assistance, that it would be a great idea to post when people will be flying from/to certain cities and have a spot available to transport a yorkie. For example, I'll be flying out to Indianapolis later this summer to bring home a puppy, but on my way out, I won't be carrying one. It would be great if we have a special forum where YT posters could just post when and where they'll be flying and that they'd be able to transport a yorkie for them. That way, anyone who needs it, could look it up in that forum and see that JohnQposter is flying out of a city that would work. Does that make sense? I'll post a working example in the next reply box. |

No Longer a Member | 8/22/07 ONT to IND I'll be flying out of Ontario, CA to Indianapolis, IN on 8/22. If anyone needs to transport a yorkie out that way, I'd be willing to carry him/her out there. Anyway, I think a forum for something like this, as well as any other railroad requests would be beneficial. |

| that is a good idea ... however, they will need to make arrangements ahead of time ... but this could make things a lot easier for others.

| Transport train I think this is a great idea. I will be flying to Ontario, Canada in August, unfortunately Air Canada no longer accepts pets on their flights. Jay

| I really like this idea! I don't like the idea of babies having to fly alone.

| I think it is a good idea if we can get all the details worked out. I know the current YorkieTrain threads have been in General Discussion, which gets sooo many new posts, but the YorkieTrain posts do always make their way back to the top. I think it would be a good idea to have it's own thread....if Admin agrees!

| You should remember that although you THINK you know these people on the internet it is still an anonymous place with anonymous people for the most part. What happens if part of your "train" takes off with the puppy? You better hope that you have the correct name and address of the participants as well as a license plate number, who is responsible to pay the train recipient their monetary loss (assuming that some is involved) if that happens?
