Did the green lines go away?

I had to disable them twice but after that they've stayed away. Even after an update and restart this morning.

Boy am I glad I read this thread. I thought it was something on my computer. I looked and looked for an hour or more yesterday trying to find what the heck was on my computer making this come up.

Thank you for telling me how to disable them. Where did this come from?

No problem! From what I understand, its a new form of advertising in addition to the ads at the top of every page. So, its another way for Yorkie Talk to get $ to operate the forum. I totally understand that they need $ to run the site, but these made it difficult to even navigate a thread. A lot of people are really annoyed by it- thank goodness you can get rid of them.

Well I understand, BUT they won't stay off over here.
Do they come back everytime we leave YT and come back? I even had the lines on another site. I am not liking this at all. It does make everything slower. (Not just here but other sites as well)

Hmmm, it's so weird how different it's working for everyone. I disabled mine a few days ago and thank god they haven't come back. I even logged off and when I logged back on- still gone. Good luck with getting rid of them. They're annoying little buggers!

I think the greenies have disappeared since the server went down on saturday. I haven't had any today and i couldn't get them disabled at all. Kept getting an error. Hopefully YT did away with this form of advertising and revenue. I don't think anyone here would use them anyway. LOL!!
