| Yorkie Care and Share? I am a firm believer of recycling things...From cans to clothes, I try to make the best of everything...I have been a member of this great forum since Feb and I am so hooked, not even funny...Maybe this exists or maybe this is new thing but let me just bring it up ...What do you guys do with your unused toys, carriers, clothes, food, treats, etc? Do you simply throw it away? Do you donate? As we all are Yorkie adicts, why dont we start a Care and Share with our unused Yorkie items? For instance, if you have clothes that do not fit your Yorkie anymore, do you just keep them waiting? I was thinking it would be great for everyone if we can share our unused items by simply charging people for shipping costs. It might sound surreal but I think it would be a great way to exchange unused items and let the consumer win rather than big fat pet corporations. I am looking forward to hear from you all ladies and gents! |

| The Yorkie Fair!! I read that the Yorkie Fair is having a "white elephant" type of sale. I think that the proceeds are going to a Yorkie rescue!! I have seen a previous post in which someone was mailing some items to a YT member that is helping with the Yorkie fair. I think her name was Janie. That may be another great way to bid farewell to some outgrown things AND the profits will go to a great cause, too! ( but I do like the idea of passing along items to fellow YT's, too)

| I take the ignored toys and retired beds to the local shelter. I do not take anything that is in bad shape. Just the stuff that the girls didn't play with, or the beds that got pushed aside by my shopping sprees. I also take treat that were a miss with the girls along with old towels & blankets. I go about 2 times a year.

Administrator | If you want to give away items for free (and just charge shipping), you can do so in the Yorkie Products for Sale section. Just clearly list what the item is, post a picture if you have one, and then list what the shipping fee is. Also, please list the condition of the item, whether it be new or used. |
