Truth is I couldnt care less if there was a for sale thread or not. That isnt why I am here.

How about contributing members with a substantial amount of informative posts AND a reliable website showing their pups and their credentials ... Lorraine has her own website and stands up to scrutiny ... all others should as well.

your suggestion about the website would hurt a lot of the new breeders like myself that can't afford one just now. I have just had my first litter, well, one living puppy. i sold her on another forum i belong to. As everyone has always said, haven't cleared a dime yet. I researched what seems like forever before i started purchasing my breeding dogs. i have thousands of dollars invested just in the dogs. not counting everything else. i do plan on having a webiste someday soon, i hope but sure can't afford it right now. i have been a member for awhile but have never posted a dog for sale. i would like to have that option if i ever want to.

YorkieTalk does not SELL any Yorkies, nor are we a broker, nor do we take money when members list Yorkies for sale. There are MANY ethical and good breeders here at YorkieTalk. Many Yorkies have found great homes because of our For Sale forum. Members can determine for themselves or ask for advice whether a new member of YorkieTalk posts a Yorkie For Sale ad.

Members CAN ask questions in the Yorkie For Sale section, but personal attacks, or off-topic discussion will not be tolerated.

As we stated in the Yorkie For Sale Post Rules, we do not allow brokers posting For Sale ads:

We do NOT ALLOW any Yorkies for sale if you personally aren't selling them yourself unless approved in advance by us. We have had too many issues and problems of members "selling for their friend, etc." If they want to post a Yorkie for sale, let them create their OWN YorkieTalk account and post the details themselves. We will NOT ALLOW any brokers, puppy mills, agents, or anyone posting Yorkies for sale if they are not in your possession. You MUST have the Yorkie(s) in your possession if you want to post in here unless you have permission in advance.
