| administrator need help I know there have been alot of changes going on. I am not able to use the smiley faces and I can't upload any files or pictures. How long will it be until everything is working again? I noticed other people can use their smiley faces and upload pictures, so why isn't mine working?? Sorry to bother you, I just miss the smileys and would love to upload some new pictures. Thanks for your time.

Administrator | Everything is working fine with YorkieTalk. First, try to log out of your YorkieTalk account. Try to clear your Internet cookies and then sign in again, as the problem appears to be related with your browser. https://helpdesk.jetnet.aa.com/knowb.../aa_bb9167.htm Smilies and attachments both are working for everyone. When replying to a thread, click the blue Post Reply button. From there, you will see a link that says [More] under smilies. Click on that to open a new window that shows you all the smilies. For attachments, click the Manage Attachments button, and a new window will open up for you to upload attachments to YorkieTalk. For some browsers that have popup blockers installed, you may need to hold down the CTRL button or SHIFT button on your keyboard before you click on the link. |

| What browser are you using? I can't upload pictures or use the smileys with Netscape but if I switch to Internet Explorer everything works. It's annoying though because I like Netscape better than IE.

Administrator | YorkieTalk has been tested on Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and the smilies link and manage attachments buttons both work fine. So unless you are using additional add-on's to Firefox or are specifically blocking YorkieTalk from pop-up windows, they should work. If you are using an older version of Firefox, that may be the problem. Firefox 1.5 has been released now. We have also tested YorkieTalk on Netscape 8.1, Opera 8.54, and Internet Explorer 6 and all the smiley and attachment features work in each case. Since there are many versions of old browsers around, it is impossible for us to test each and every version of every browser, but the features will work for everyone on these newest versions of the browser. If it does not work for you, log out of your YorkieTalk account, then clear your Internet cookies (instructions below). https://helpdesk.jetnet.aa.com/knowb.../aa_bb9167.htm Then log back in and try it again. Alternatively, try holding down the CTRL button and then clicking the mouse button when you click on More Smilies or Manage Attachments. Or try holding down the SHIFT button and then clicking the mouse button when you click on More Smilies or Manage Attachments. Here are the links to download new versions of these free browsers: http://www.getfirefox.com http://www.netscape.com http://www.opera.com The above solutions should work for every member.
