| Marketing Blogs Hiya all! Has anyone else noticed the marketing blogs which are appearing? I keep falling for them, thinking I'm going to help someone, and finding out I've been tricked into reading spam! I have put a few on ignore but I can only ignore the names as they come up. Anyone else? |

| Oh, wow, that Exhibit A would be spam to me, too, and I wouldn't read it. Not sure what you mean about can't ignore the names as they come up, Misty. Are you notified by email or something anytime a new blog entry is made or something? To tell you the truth, I totally forget about that section of YT for some reason, just like I do the Arcade, Community and Chat sections. I stay in New Posts and updated Subscribed Threads, usually check only those & PM's anytime I come to the website and they eat up all my time here, with the occasional time in the Library for reference material or something. Occas. look at the Photo Gallery. This is a huge site! So much to look into.

Sorry not clear - I meant that I can't tell what is spam or not spam until I've already clicked on it which, by that time, it's been read and I've been tricked again! Sometimes, I think newer members make blogs instead of post on the board so I try to help because there have been some desperate pleas for assistance which go unnoticed! I put the marketing names on ignore because I'm worried they will pm me or something and I don't want the aggravation. | |

| Oh, can't blame you there. Wouldn't want to read spam and take up my time on somebody's sales job. I'm glad someone is reading new blogs with pleas in them and helping as I never even think of them when I come to the site. I kind of think of New Posts as YT's collective blog and forget there are other blogs here! Seems New Threads kind of take their place most of the time and do the same job, really, setting forth the subject, with a narrative that usually states particulars and gives updates so I just forget the real blogs. Got to try to remember to check those out on slow days when New Posts are minimal. Thanks for the reminder.
