Want Something Stickied and/or Added to The YT Library? Requests here...

Amen to that. As soon as ladyjane posted that K9 Vitals link earlier on that sick dog thread, I, too, mentioned this should be a sticky if we don't already have something like it in the Library. I also bookmarked that website link under my Dog Emergencies Favorites.

We have this thread in Health/Diet, but I'm going to add Lj's find to the existing thread. That way, people will be able to see immediate/quick info if needed, but can dig deeper w/ the info from the other one.

Should we have this under the Emergency Care section, too. If my dog was acting weird, I would go to the ER vet but others might look under Emergency to look for guidance and wouldn't this be good there, too, so they can check their dog out and see if its vital, etc., are not up to snuff? BTW, I love the "What's Normal" info just to go check Tibbe from time to time right where I can easily click and see without having to Google search and pick up viruses, etc.

I've often wanted it in there...and the only reason I didn't put it there is bc the ER section was getting so filled up (on top) w/ stickies. Recently, I've removed and/or combined some ER stickies, so we've freed up some room...so yup, let's put it in there now that we've cleaned up a bit in there.

I never want to over-stickify a section bc I've noticed when I've gone to some other forums, there are SO many stickies that I don't even want to see what's there...I just skip them bc it's just too much. I really want YT's stickies to be targeted, meaningful, and necessary. Those are the 3 main qualities I always ask myself about a sticky before making it a sticky.

Oh, and guys -- when/if you do a sticky thread at any time - PLEASE always double check me and make sure that I also put it in the Library. The Library should always contain ALL stickies that are on the board, so that the Library is a complete catalog of ALL info threads and stickies that we have on the entire board.

Sometimes I'll forget to put a new sticky in the Library and/or I'll forget when I edit a sticky on the main board to also edit it in the Library.

I'm glad you are putting them in the library too, I didn't know that. I always try to remember which forum I saw the stickey and sometimes it gets confusing, so now I'l just check the library.
