QUOTE Button Not Working

Anyone having trouble with their QUOTE (Reply with Quote) button? When I reply, I usually like to quote the post I am referring to, so it is clear where my comments are directed. Starting yesterday, I have had trouble with the QUOTE button not putting a quote on my reply screen.

In one instance, I tried quoting a particular post, and a different one showed up at the top of my reply screen. Anyone else having trouble with this or is it just me. I am the only one that winds up with "home made" quotes at the top of their posts, so I am thinking this may be isolated to my screen name files.

Had another instance of my whole thread disappearing when I know it did not break any TOS, or published YT Rule/Guideline. Probably that poof gremlin ... sure would like to have the QUOTE back tho.

Wonder what could have caused just my QUOTE feature to go away....Thinking.....thinking......AN IDEA! Yes, I think I know a possible cause. Maybe a MODERATOR could help put things back in order in my Member files so I can use the QUOTE feature again?????? Pls & tks!

There have been no changes to YorkieTalk for quite some time, and there is no way for anyone to disable a feature for just one member. You may try a different browser.

Threads may be deleted at the discretion of YorkieTalk admins or moderators.

Thanks for whatever happened to restore my QUOTE button. It is now working fine!

I did not change browsers. It just went back to working after I posted here. Magic.

I understand the "at the discretion" part. As I mentioned in the thread that "poofed" -- your site, your decision (no problem) . Tried to ask VERY respectfully about criteria when no rules/guidelines/or TOS are violated. Not to worry though, it was a minor issue ... not big enough of a deal to spoil another amazing YT day!

I think I have proven myself to be a HUGE supporter of this site and "Admin" decisions over the years. So hopefully you know, I'm not being at all disparaging about the site. I have learned so much here, made great friends, and shared a lot of laughs -- I expect 2011 to hold the same promises!

We are unable to change anyone's ability to use the quote feature. Glitches can happen, as evidenced by a PM in my Inbox from 1969.

The application of the Rules and TOS are at the discretion of Admin and Mods, and decisions are not arbitrary.
