My little Shadow Donating YT Member | ![]() I read this thread the other day: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sit...nyone-get.html Well, it just now happened to me! ![]() ![]() I tried to do print screen, but didn't work. It was a red screen with same warning. I don't recall seeing any msgs from Trend on the screen. I do however have Trend Micro AntiVirus. This is strange that it's happened to several people! I was in the middle of reading a post when it just appeared. Warning that YorkieTalk was unsafe?? I just did the back arrow & all seemed ok?? Really Weird??

Administrator | ![]() We have no idea why that may be appearing with the antivirus program of some members. We have no spyware or any malicious software here on YorkieTalk at all. It may be due to that particular antivirus program. And it sounds very odd that it only appears once in a while or randomly, not every single time, as if there was an issue with YorkieTalk, we would think that warning would pop up each time you load up a page here. |

| ![]() I wonder if it is related to one of the ads that randomly displays on the pages as they load. It would be interesting to know what ads appear when this happens.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() I have Norton, and occasionally an alert comes up that says a hijacker has made an attempt to access my computer, when I look for details, it's just google's tracking system. People with other security programs, such as McAfee seem to be getting the same message you are getting. Yorkietalk is considered one of the safest websites on the web, with a safety rating of over 98%, there is always a risk, but if you have a good security program, and keep it updated and do scans, you should be safe. I like Norton because it does the updates and scans on it's own.

By the way, I'm now getting audio ads, from e-harmony. I don't care for them. They scare me when they come on, and I would like to disable them, anyone know how to do that?

Hope someone has the answer to yr problem with e-harmony audio. Technical pros - we Need yr Help pls!! Another thing that happened a month or so ago that was odd - I noticed that we had a desktop icon for Google Chrome. I knew that I had not downloaded, nor did dh. At the time, I didn't even know what it was. So I did a search. Since, I've uninstalled it. When this happened, I did notice there was an advertisement at the top for Google Chrome while on YT. Probably, just like other things that appear there. But I really don't know how it got downloaded in the beginning?? ![]()

Probably depends upon the browser you are using. There is probably a way to mute them in each browser. I would google it.
