Yorkie Talker | Not a user-friendly site I'm a 60+ business man with excellent computer skills. And I'm certainly not intimidated by the keyboard. I usually have no difficulty in navigating most web sites. But I don't find this site to be intuitive at all. For instance, you have 18 different interior links. Does clicking on "all albums" take me to the same place as Photo Gallery? Several times I've attempted posting, and 2 times my post did complete properly, but only after an immense amount of flipping back and forth reading directions, mishaps, etc. Then there are a number of times that I've attempted to post, then just given up. It's ironic that I receive auto-generated emails noting that I haven't posted for several weeks. Not being on the site daily, it is more difficult to remember specific steps, particularly when the site isn't intuitive. I really enjoy the site, learn from it and look forward to my visits. But I'm sure I'm not getting half the benefit from it that I could if I could navigate the site better. And I really don't have a lot of time in the day to plow through. Couldn't the design be made more simple? I'm really not as negative about the site as it may sound. I just get so frustrated trying to make something happen. Thanks, Sammies Dad |
