Will YorkieTalk make an app for the iPhone? - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Just wondering if YorkieTalk will be making an iPhone app in the near future. I love my iPhone and if there was a YorkieTalk app for it, I know I would be on YT like 24/7. My phone is basically glued to my hip.

This is the first time I've accessed yt from my iPhone and I absolutely had to respond when I saw this thread: excellent idea!!! It's HaRD to sneak on yt at work!!!

i know what you mean! browsing YT on the iPhone is a little hard to do as well. especially when you want to post. you gotta keep zooming in to enlarge the font and if you want to go to the next page.

It costs $100 for the program to develop iPhone apps. I have heard of something though where you can put a forum on a list for some app and you can view it in mobile form.

Just managed to sneak back to my computer and saw all the responses. Of course, if there was a YorkieTalk iphone app, I would have responded within seconds

. Let me talk to my tech gurus and get back to you, fadeddenim! It should be relatively inexpensive, given the simplicity of the program. Maybe we can start a fund!

As iphones become more ubiquitous, it would also mean great exposure for YT. Of course, this does mean YT will become infinitely more addictive for some of us

yes, i'm down to start a fund. just like breny said, we should also make the app available for BB users as well. i'm a YT addict and I need to have my YT fix everyday...y not have it at the palm of your hand? i know there are a lot of YT members who would love to have this app and i'm sure we'll have no trouble funding it.

wow, only $100? that is really inexpensive. if we all chip in, i'm sure we can come up with that within minutes!

I would for sure help fund something like this... I agree it is hard to view Yorkietalk on the iphone. I tried it last week.
