Ignore List - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I really love using the "New Posts" feature when checking out Yorkietalk, but I was wondering if there was any way of putting certain forums, on the Ignore List. As of now, you can only put individual members, but I would like to be able to edit my "New Posts" list to ignore threads from certain forums. If there is no way to do this, I hope you consider this idea for future updates of Yorkietalk.

Admin may think of something...but the only way I can think of right now is if you ask your "permissions" to be removed for a certain forum. Like, let's say you no longer wanted to see posts from the Garage Sale section - we could remove your access...but then to ever see it again, we'd have to change it back for you.

Another thing you could do is an Advanced Search - where you can choose the forums to search by holding the Ctrl key -- and then you can also select "Find Posts From" and "Sort Results By" -- it's kind of a work-around....sort of?

Argh...nevermind...that doesn't work bc you still have to enter either a person, keyword, or tag.

It's in the blue strip toward the top of the page, next to "search." See picture for more information.

i think the only way is to ask ADMIN. i asked them to block the GE forum for me and he did.
