| That's a neat idea. I know the other day I shipped a box through USPS that weighed around 3 or 4 lbs and it was going to be $30 for priority. Parcel post was almost $10 and that's for like several business days. Shipping is high, plus it's going up again in May. When you ship a box to different coasts, you have to measure the box which makes it go up even higher. I'd think clothes and toys would be fine but when you start getting into bowls and other things, it will get a little pricey.

| Well we won't be expecting people to ship priority....just standard...so that shouldn't be as expensive.... also we will need to make sure about the size of the box...if it's smaller it's alot cheaper...so we can look into that to make sure that it's not super expensive for everyone involved... and why would YT have a problem with donations? that would just be a bonus...

Administrator | We appreciate your enthusiasm for this project. As with anything with the YorkieTalk name attached to it, we would have to make sure everything is in order before this can proceed. There are a few questions such as how heavy the "boxes" will be, how much shipping will be, and if there are alternative ideas that can better fulfill what to do with "gently used" toys. No, I meant keeping records, it sounds like there would be a special donation to be able to participate in this. Have you checked with admin about this? Oh I see, you have!

| I'm a donating member but not the 200 post. I thought it was orginally 100 posts? I saw 1,000 and now 200. ?? I also don't agree with the fact that if someone donates less than 25.00 they could be a Junior? I think a donation is a donation no matter how big or small. Every penny helps. Maybe people should know that you don't have to donate 25.00. It's nice but I think everyone understands the economy today...it stinkeroos Everything else sounds super kewl. |

| This is a great idea...Mimi & Momo has tons of clothing that's only been worn once or twice for photos & special occasions. 13oz & under can be shipped 1st class at a reasonable rate. Over 13ozs has to be shipped priority mail...where it can get very expensive. Usps has flat rate priority boxes for $10.95 & you can fill it w/whatever you want, no weight limit.

| Shipping through the post office isn't that expensive if you send it by standard mail.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | This does sound good, but what about clothes sizes?? We have already established boy/girl, but what about size? How can this be done? I know we have a wide range of yorkie sizes here!

| Quicksilver...is the one that initiated this whole thing......so guess we need to check with her.....and make sure that ADMIN is ok with everything...Then we can proceed... I LOVE the idea that you can ship a box with UPS for 10.95 and you can fill it with however much!! That is AWESOME!!! That's not asking too much for shipping!! Is it the same fee EVERYWHERE in the U.S.?

| Not to nix a new inventive idea or anything .... but why doesn't everyone just list all of their used things on the For Sale forums. You will get money for what you sell, and can turn around and buy what others post. If everyone would do this over the next month, there could be a very nice selection of things there in no time. Then we would only be paying postage once for things someone wants. Conceivably if something went in the box that no one was needing, dozens of people could be paying postage over and over to send that item around the country. It might be a neat idea for the big Meet-Up. Everyone could get one ticket for each item donated, and then get to pick an item for every ticket they have. I have seen that type of thing done for kid's sporting equipment before. Worked like a charm! Just adding some alternative ideas in case this one doesn't work out for you all.

| I like the idea! I've got plenty of clothes Walker grew out of but never wore. Brand new! Why shouldn't somebody else be able to use them? Count me in! I've got some toys, too that weren't a hit.

I think alot of people love the idea of getting a box....and getting to pick out a few things...by the time they pay for items and pay postage...they would probably pay 11.00 anyhow...
