Hi all i was wondering on how you would become more involved in YorkieTalk? Is there a way to become a moderator or any other involvement? Hope my question is clear....LOL

You are welcome to just post replies, help out in general when members have questions, create guides for new members, or come up with ideas on how to better YorkieTalk. We listen to every idea from members and implement many of them. A few suggestions that came from members are our YT Gift Exchanges, Halloween contests, and YorkieTalk calendars.

Moderators are chosen by YorkieTalk admins and moderators when we need more moderators. Some qualities we look for are whether a member can be fair, whether they help the community, and how often they take part in our community. Currently, we believe we have enough moderators and they are all doing a great job. Thank you for asking!

This is going to seem like a silly?, but what is a moderator and who are some of the moderators?

A moderator is a member who gives their time to help the forum to run smoothly. They delete inappropriate posts, take care of trouble makers, help members with questions and generally keep YT the friendly, happy and fair community that it is.

The moderators here are SimonandHallie, Wylie's Mom and Jenn218. The moderators have their usernames in red and say moderator underneath. If you go to the forum main index page and scroll to the bottom of the forum lists there is a link to "View Forum Leaders" which shows you the moderators for each forum.

Thanks, I didn't know that. But....I just tried it and the link wouldn't work and came up as a fatal error!!!
