| Edit time I was wondering if the time to correct boo boo's in spelling grammar, etc. can be extended. I type as I can, and then when I have time to settle down and really read my post I am so embarrassed by some of my mistakes. Would it hurt to extend the edit time?

Administrator | We believe the five minute time limit should be enough time to edit any mistakes or correct any grammar. Members may also write their post in a word processor and check for mistakes that way first. After five minutes, members may post a reply to their own thread, or reply to their own post, to clarify anything. Thank you. |

| Donna I know about spell check, but I am often posting in the morning before work and before hitting the treadmill. My hectic life will soon be changing and I will be able to correct within the 5 min. time limit AND do spell check....I will be poor, but grammatically correct.

The fact that you care indicates that you probably don't make too many mistakes, and those that slip through will be seen as typos by anyone who cares. At least that's my hope -- I make them all the time. I initially thought the five-minute rule was silly, but I've seen cases where people have replied to a post, and then the original poster has changed their post to make the replies meaningless. I think there's a certain value in spontaneity. Spontaneity? Did I spell that right?
