| Admin Can we have a sticky thread in the Sick & Injured / Emergencies Talk forum On where and how to get help when people dont have no money to take their little ones to the vets. so many Emergencies come about and some times people just dont have the extra money at the time and Im afraid so many of them may not be getting the care they need because of this. and I would like them to know there are other options out there in helping to get their Yorkies the help they needed. Like the "Care Credit" I know a few people who applied for this card and then was able to get the care/ surgerys their Babies needed. You can go here and apply for this card. its for humans and animals. CareCredit® Healthcare Finance - Payment Plans and Financing for Cosmetic Surgery, Dental, Vision, Hearing, Veterinary & Other Medical Procedures a program called "Care Credit" which is basically a credit card for the healthcare (people & animals). The vet accepts it, and it's interest free as long as you pay it off in the time alloted (12 or 18 months)... So appliy and get approved so you will have 12 months to pay the surgery off interest free maybe your family pet needs a surgery you didn’t plan for. But if your insurance doesn’t cover all the costs for the procedure you want and need, where do you turn? CareCredit, a GE Money Company, gives you convenient payment options so you can get the procedure you want, when you want it. CareCredit gives you the freedom to get your procedure whenever you’re ready. It’s easy to apply. With three simple steps, including an instant approval process, you can say goodbye to the waiting time and reward yourself sooner. Administrator | Thank you for your suggestion. If you would like to craft a thread on this topic, and perhaps suggest other alternatives as well, we would be happy to consider making it a sticky in the Sick & Injured / Emergencies Talk forum. You might also want to put in there that you (nor YorkieTalk) gets paid to refer CareCredit, just so people don't think you (or YorkieTalk) is advertising them just to make money. Thank you! |

| Oh I see someone else took my sticky ideal, I had been working on it and was waiting on a few other members to add theirs, was wanting to add just the links to it that people had experience with them selfs and not just from google searches. That way people who are in a hurry to get help wouldent be overwhelmed with to many different things to read at once. Im glad I saw the sticky or I would of still been working on it . But Im still happy that a threads been made to help others Thanks. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yorkieshadow - the one that was "stickified" was from June - so if you have suggestions for modifications/additions etc., we can always change it.
