| Yorkie News & Site Announcements email -- please can this be improved?? I don't understand why the Yorkie News & Site Announcements email that I get every night in my email box can't be more than a link to the news stories. Most the time, it's the same stories everyday. Plus I believe if there was useful information it would drive people back to the YT site every day!! I forgot to buy my raffle tickets yesterday -- I would much rather have had a Yorkie Announcement telling me the raffle ticket sale was ending. I sometimes don't look at the Stickies - so I totally missed out on sending pictures in for the calendar. I would so much rather that daily email be filled with useful information. And if I have to be away from YT for a few days, I have an easy way to know what's going on So maybe one little email section for true YT news -- GE sign ups, calendars, cookbooks, raffles, etc. another section for meetups - that way people could see if a meetup is being planned in their area a third little part listing threads to lost yorkies and a section with a link to that day's hottest threads (that aren't locked ) This would be much more useful information to me as a YT member. Admin is any of this possible??? Pretty please

| You are so right Thanks for speaking up. I am too new to YT to tell anyone anything, however I have the exact same thoughts. Current system just fills up e-mail box.

| I just wanted to say that this is one of the most user-friendly message boards I have ever seen. Admin and the moderators do a wonderful job. There are some little-known features on this site that I use every day now that make my life MUCH easier. New posts = on the blue bar across the top it says "new posts" and if you click on that it has the latest posts that have been made. I go through this to see what I've missed. User CP = this is on the same bar, but to the far left. This lists any threads you have posted to or subscribe to that have any activity. I do like the idea of a newsletter with site announcements. The ones I miss are the updated rules and information threads because I don't think they show up as new posts.

| yep, I use those too - but I think your right the new stickies don't show up under new posts -- or if they're locked, they get buried fast

| I just think in this day in age with all the notification methods available on websites - msgs to your cellphone, RSS Feed email notifications, etc, that this would not be that hard to do - add the true YT news
