| need moderator's approval to post??? Hi, I'm new here and I have a thread in the sick/injured/emergencies section. I tried to post an update twice and both times it says that a moderator has to approve it before it will show up. But, I'm able to post on other threads without this happening. I'm just confused and wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks! |

| Click on "member list" in the blue bar towards the top of the page. There's a "search member" option on the right hand side of the page. Type "admin" there. When it comes up, click on their name and it'll take you to admin's profile. There you can click to send them a private message. Hope this helps!

| That is normal. Members who haven't posted much sometimes have a few select posts moderated. This will not happen when you have over maybe 100 or so posts (don't know the exact number). If you have a question about the emergency your pup is going through, you could try posting somewhere else and maybe it will take or your post will show up in that thread in less than about a day.

| I thought it might be because I was new. Just wasn't sure how things worked here. Update on Sebastian: Sebastian's red blood count was 20,000 as of 4am. If it drops much below 18,000 then it becomes a "clinical situation" (he could have difficulty breathing) and he would need a blood transfusion. I also found out that it wasn't bloody diarrhea, but bloody urine, which seems to worry them. They said it shows that his blood is really thin and not coagulating properly. He was continuing to have bloody urine when I dropped him off at the vet this morning. They are watching him at the regular vet today and he will go back to the ER tonight if he doesn't stabilize. If he starts to decline rapidly then we will need to take him to an Internal Medicine specialist for "more advanced treatments". They said they would call me later this morning, but it is now lunchtime and I haven't heard back yet. I'm worried sick! I will call them soon if I don't hear anything. Thanks for all the encouragement and support. I really need it right now! |
