I have the same problem now. This "Warning! your privacy data is in danger" appears everywhere and time. I can' t get rid of this virus. My computer running like sht, too. Very annoying. I have AVG free edition, being updated often, but it can't kill it. Littlewhip, You said You installed a new software. Can You tell me what software is it, please? I need it badly! Thank You!

AVG IS GREAT !! I used it for 4 years - but dont upgrade to the professional cause you'll never get the free version back - the other thing you can do is use TREND MICRO Online Scanner - my old cable company referred me to them and they find stuff Norton and AVG didn't get -

other good ones are A-Squared and Spybot
