| I want to learn I want to learn how to make the cute animated avitars. I had someone on this site make mine and I'm pleased with it. I just would love to do it myself. What programs to you use? I've messed around with ulead and Gimp but you'd need a college degree to work with them.

| I've been playing with Ulead for a couple of days and have managed to make a few different avatars. I did the one I'm using now and have another I had up last night that flashes 7 or 8 different pictures..... the only problem I'm really having is getting the file sizes down small enough to be able to use them on YT..... the more color, images and effects you have, of course, the higher the file size.... where one I did was like 1800 kb, lol, YT only allows 48.8 (or is it mb??) either way, I have to bring them down to a fraction of the original "show" to make them run on YT.... <<shrug>> They have to be pretty simple little avatars to be able to work on YT, but I've had fun playing around with the program
