| Update on Rare Disease Update on my previous threads on the rare disease, hypotrichosis, that my 3 puppies were born with. We went back to the breeder, Janice Snyder, in the Gettysburg, PA area and she denies there being a problem even though we were not asking for any compensation at all. We were asking that she stop selling puppies that have this genetic mutation. She is presently registering her puppies through ACA. I plan on contacting ACA to see if I can stop her from getting any more puppies registered. I also plan on contacting the PA attorney general to see is they can advise us on how she can be stopped. I hope to post pictures tomorrow. Anyone in the PA state area (we are in Maryland) who knows this breeder, or who is thinking of buying from a pet store in this area where she sells her puppies BEWARE!! She is obviously a very unethical person and you do not want to go through the heartbreak we are currently experiencing. Thank you everyone. Pictures will follow. |

| I'm appalled to hear this breeder is from Gettysburg, PA!!! There must be something you can do to get her stopped...and the AG's Office is the best place to start...i'm not 100% sure but that might fall under their Bureau of Consumer Protection so if I were you I would start there. Please let me know if there is anything I can do, and yes, Please post pics soon, I am so anxious to see your poor babies.

| Good for for taking a stand. The breeder just has no concience of any kind. Sad and scary at the sametime. How in the world do you deliberately bring puppies into the world knowing they may have a lifetime of hardship and not care! Shame on her. I hope she can be stopped. |
