Update on my previous threads on the rare disease, hypotrichosis, that my 3 puppies were born with. We went back to the breeder, Janice Snyder, in the Gettysburg, PA area and she denies there being a problem even though we were not asking for any compensation at all. We were asking that she stop selling puppies that have this genetic mutation. She is presently registering her puppies through ACA. I plan on contacting ACA to see if I can stop her from getting any more puppies registered. I also plan on contacting the PA attorney general to see is they can advise us on how she can be stopped. I hope to post pictures tomorrow. Anyone in the PA state area (we are in Maryland) who knows this breeder, or who is thinking of buying from a pet store in this area where she sells her puppies BEWARE!! She is obviously a very unethical person and you do not want to go through the heartbreak we are currently experiencing. Thank you everyone. Pictures will follow.
