| Not eating/drinking well!! So Roo was in the emergency animal hospital over the weekend because she was stressed out and had made herself completely dehydrated- plus she had blood in her poop and so she's now on an antibiotic etc. Now we brought her home on Saturday evening and she has been eating okay and had been drinking pretty well. We brought our new puppy home yesterday (arranged long before Roo got sick and the vet said it would be fine just to make sure Roo got plenty of rest). Well now Roo hasn't drank any water at all today. We have put her on wet food which she ate a little today plus I made her a little scrambled egg (I'm pretty desperate to keep her eating etc) so I'm not sure if it's that she's getting plenty of liquid in that??? The last time she peed her pee was a watery kind of yellow so not too bad but I'm just worried she's going to relapse? Has anyone had this problem/know if the wet food has any thing to do with reduced drinking?? |

| My Yorkie gets homecooked which has tons of moisture like canned food. I haven't seen her drink anything in the last week or two. She gets enough water in her food.

| Well there is water in canned food so that might be why she is drinking less
