| Nose Peeling? I notice last night that my Yorkie's nose is peeling. Around the top and side are pink and it looks like there is a scab that is coming off. It looks like part of her nose because below it is pink. I have no idea what it could be or what I should do. She has been digging in the backyard lately and I did not know if maybe she irritated it digging. Has anyone had this happen before? What do I do? She does not act like it hurts her at all. She is not crying or acting funny.

| GiGi's nose peeled once. I don't know how it happened. She was not ill or in the sun too much I just noticed one day that the skin on the top part of her nose was peeling. I left it alone...it came off and never happened again. This was about 2years ago. The color never changed even while it was peeling. It happened pretty fast like over a week or two. Tina |

| Our backyard is shaded, so she really isn't in the sun all that much. I am pretty sure it is where she has been digging in the dirt in the backyard. This is a new thing for her. I am going to call the vet just to make sure!
