| Shampoo in Eyes...HELP ME!! I gave my boy a bath almost four hrs ago and I got some (human organinc shampoo that I've used for over two years w/ no probs!!) shampoo in his left eye. I rinsed it out as normal and gave him a quick blow dry. Poor little fella has been walking around the house with his eye closed and its tearing pretty bad. I've tried blowing it and rinsing it, there is no swelling. What can I do?? Please help me. |

| Did you see if there was a hair in his eye? If you think it is the shampoo, cup your hand with some water & open his eye in the water. Just like you would for your own eye. He may have scratched it if he rolls on the floor like most furbabys... trying to get the water off. |

| I tried rinsing it. I took him for a drive w/ the window down since he enjoys popping his out the window. He was fine shortly after that for a few minutes and then he shut it again. I wonder if it will pass? |

| I put Visine in a dogs eye before. My Moms dog had bad allergies. I looked it up on the internet and it said it was OK. I use baby shampoo on Zoey's head .No more tears. Hope your baby feels better soon.

| Took him to emergency last night. Seems like he scratched his eye by rubbing. He's on antibiotics for 5 days and he looks like Rocky Balboa. |

| Good news so far! He has opened his eye...it's a little cloudy from the drops but it seems like he is not in pain. Looks like my little guy is a tuff cookie! |

| Oh, I'm so sorry you are both dealing with this. I use dog shampoo so I have not experienced this exact problem. But my cat had to have drops in her eyes once - not a fun period, because - well she was a cat & behaved as you might think a cat would - lol Praying the healing continues quickly.

| The boy is a tiger! He's up and running again w/o any probs. If anything he hated the drops since it blurred his vision in the affected eye since it left a "glaze". Thank you all for your warm wishes. |
