BUT......I would take her to an emergency vet. I live 70 miles from one and have taken my pets there numerous times over the years in the middle of the night. Look them up and call them....they will give you a little info over the phone. Even if they are located in the next state.....JUST DO IT!

It's gotta be confusing watching both threads here.

Does your vet have an after-hours numbers. Ours does and we've used it before. It'll make you feel so much better to at least call and see what he thinks you need to do until he can see you.

Make an appt to have another bile acid test done on her just so that you can have more info on that, not just regular bloodwork because liver abnormalities/problems won't show up on routine bloodwork until 70% of the liver is damaged...

I was just wondering if there is any possibility that Bella ate chocolate. The symptoms that you described excessive thirst and vomiting are also related to chocolate poisoning. (Our neighbor's Jack Russell ate 9 Little Debbie brownies last month and that's exactly how she reacted. )

Sounds to me like she is drinking because she feels dehydrated, but even water on an empty stomach can be nauseating...so give her small amounts over a period of time...and small amounts to eat...hope her little digestive system can get some rest, and that she'll feel much better.

i have no other advice same as everyone else.... poor baby... I hope she is ok and could she have eaten a bug? Will keep her in our prayers .....

I am so sorry about your little baby. I know how upsetting it can be when they are sick. We are first time owners of a yorkie so I don't know if they are prone to diabetes or not. They usually start out by drinking alot of water but her throwing up so much sounds like its something else. I would just let her little tummy rest and at least she is staying hydrated. Maybe try alittle pepto bismol to settle her tummy and stop the vomiting. Hope she gets better soon.
