| Daisy's sick :( Diarhea!!! Daisy's been having diarhea all yesterday and today! Hubby was watching her yesterday since I was away all day for work.. I have no idea as to what it could have possibly been from... I'm so sad for her, right now we've put her in her pen and she's whining about it. Yesterday she was running around pooping (wet) everywhere!! She seems to be in high spirits and her normal self. But even this morning her poop was wet.. Nothing has changed in her routine except we've been giving her different treats lately... What if she ate something bad/toxic?? Anyone have any idea what it may be/what I can do for her?

| You could give her a teaspoon or two of plain canned pumkin. It rebalances the water content of the bowels, so it's good for runny poo AND constipation I hope she's all better soon

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | After Lulu had her last shot she had the squishies too. The vet told me to bring her in and they would give her the eqivalent of doggie pepto. I then in turn gave her a teaspoon of pepto three times a day for about two days and it was gone. I also gave her a bland diet of steamed rice and some boiled chicken pieces. Hope Daisy gets better soon.

| I always give white rice with chicken, and it seems to do the trick.

| make sure she is getting plenty of water... use an eye dropper if you have to to squirt it in her mouth.... if you don't see improvement by tomorrow or if it gets worse take her to the vet. you don't want her getting dehydrated. sometimes this just happens.. happend to Layla last week.. i gave her boiled chicken and she napped for most of the day and within two days she was ok |

| Make sure she has plenty of water, syringe feed her little bits if you have to. Let her sleep lots and only give her bland food (such as boiled chicken). I find a small amount of live yogurt works a treat because it contains fantastic digestive enzymes. If in 48 hours she is no better, take her to the vets. |

| The runs could be caused by a parasite. Bring in a stool sample to be checked. If it is a parasite sometimes there is blood and it REALLY STINKS ! ( odd smell) You can also try human kaopectate. I have used it and it worked for me. My vet book states 1/2 to 1ml per pound ( or 1 to 2 teaspoons per 10 lbs) every 4 hrs. |

| So Daisy just pooped m(she hasnt pooped since this morning) and it's more solid but still pretty soft..[not a "puddle" anymore] I think i'M gonna bring her in to the vet's tomorrow either way, cuz I'm worried and want to make sure it's nothing serious..

| Daisy i feel your pain. I've been struggling with Boston with diahrreah for 4 months!!! I would say definitely take in a stool sample to rule out parasites or bacteria, hopefully she just ate something that gave her an upset stomach. Does she look like she's straining to get it out? Or is it just regular poop time but it's not solid?
